Today is the day. Well we believe it is. The grey area of the guessing game of Taylor and Travis’ wedding culminates today according to the New York Times who have reported that a ceremony will take place today for around 100 people at Madison Square Garden. I’m more convinced the ceremony will be somewhere else as a source in the know has heavily steered me in the direction for weeks… but we will know in a few hours.

In classic magazine journalism craft I am doing something known in the industry as counter programming, providing a refreshing different alternative to the story that the rest of the pack (and the world in this case is covering). Yes, I will give a quick lowdown on new facts about the Taylor wedding but what is known is everywhere and there is very little new. I am spending more time on a story that crossed my desk this week that had so many thoughts racing through my head that I ended up writing 1500 words on Kate Gosselin.

Everything New To Know About Taylor’s Wedding

But first, here’s the pertinent new facts that I believe to be true around the Taylor wedding since my last dispatch on Monday.

  1. Landing at JFK on Wednesday, was a fair chunk of the guest list: Graham Norton and husband Jono McLeod, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Dua Lipa, per the Daily Mail, while Ed Sheeran was spotted dining with Folklore collaborator Aaron Dessner just upstate, and Sabrina Carpenter turned up for a quiet dinner in the West Village. Add to that Anya Taylor-Joy and husband Malcolm McRae strolling around the city and Dua Lipa popping into Electric Lady Studios alongside Camila Cabello, which is either a coincidence or the year's most oddly specific wedding-week recording session.

  2. On Monday June 29, trucks were spotted outside MSG unloading equipment, per Page Six and CBS News. Boxes were labelled "Garden Party 1 (scenic)" and spray-painted "GP." A 40-inch mirror ball was photographed going in, alongside spotlights, chairs, racks of what appeared to be electronics for a live performance, and crates from Jet Sets, a Los Angeles scenery company that builds sets for major live events. Several vendors were seen concealing their company names and phone numbers with tape.

  1. People reported around 40 MSG employees in uniform were working to prepare the space, with staff working through the night. A red carpet was laid on MSG's front steps, spotted by DeuxMoi, and subsequently ordered to be removed by a Swift aide, per the Daily Mail. TMZ reports all MSG staff working the event have been ordered to surrender their phones for every shift.

  2. A source who is among the invitees told NBC News that 1,100 guests are expected and that invitations were sent electronically alongside NDAs. TMZ reports the NDAs carry no financial penalty for violations. So, watermarked names, but no actual consequences. The world's most expensive honor system. Every invitation was individually watermarked with the guest's full name, making any leak traceable to the specific person.

  3. Page Six reports Swift is expected to wear multiple outfits across the wedding weekend, with a number of custom dresses made for her to choose from. Designers Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia of New York label Monse are among those in the running.

  4. Page Six also got their hands on the actual run sheet, and the rehearsal dinner runs Thursday from 6:00 to 10:30 p.m. at the arena's Infosys Theater, with the roughly 100 guests filing in through the 4 Penn entrance, a route insiders say was chosen specifically to dodge paparazzi. Friday is the real marathon: doors open at 3:30 p.m., cocktail hour starts at 4 on the sixth-floor concourse, the ceremony hits the arena floor at 5:30, and the reception runs from 6:30 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. That is a ten-hour wedding, for anyone counting, which means somewhere around hour eight a Kelce cousin is going to be doing the electric slide under what I can only assume is a several-hundred-thousand-dollar lighting rig.

  5. TMZ got the closest yet to confirming my belief (backed by a source) that the actual "I dos" won't happen at the Garden at all. A guest named Anthony Jabin, invited as the plus-one to a woman on the list, let slip on TMZ Live that the ceremony and the reception are happening on the same day, July 3, but at two separate venues, with MSG hosting only the reception. He wouldn't say where the actual vows will be exchanged, but given cocktail hour reportedly kicks off at 4 p.m., whatever secret chapel or backyard they've got lined up is presumably a short limo ride from Midtown.

I’m sure Taylor’s production team will create a more beautiful set up than we have in our imagination of inside the MSG celebration…

Do you believe Taylor and Travis' wedding is really at MSG?

Harry's Security Firm Claims Six Terror Plots Threaten Duke Ahead of UK Return

Prince Harry's security saga just got a fresh jolt of tension days before his UK return. A report from his own private security firm, obtained by ITV News, claims the Duke of Sussex is the target of six terror plots, five originating in Britain, including an alleged al-Qaeda assassination reference tied to his Afghanistan service. The firm argues its unarmed officers cannot match state protection, since only UK police with RAVEC authorization can carry lethal weapons while protecting him, and says the risk to Harry is "elevated" on UK soil. The report also states that nearly 500 people are being tracked as potential stalkers of the royal family, with half of them focused on Harry, Meghan, and their children, and cites a May 2023 incident in which a man carrying a hammer and duct tape attempted to access the couple's Montecito home. Buckingham Palace and the Home Office maintain security decisions rest with the RAVEC committee alone. Harry has not confirmed whether Meghan and the kids will join him.

Celebrity Intelligence Takeaway: This leak lands exactly one week before Harry's trip, and is the Sussex camp's latest pressure play, as report was commissioned by Harry's own team, not an independent body. The core dispute isn't whether threats exist, it's whether Harry still belongs to the "cohort" the British state protects now that he's stepped back from royal duties. Until RAVEC or the palace budge, expect this story to resurface every time Harry sets foot in Britain.

Reality TV Never Lets You Leave

Collin Gosselin’s Upcoming Memoir, Credit: Grand Central Publishing

Kate Gosselin posted an anodyne TikTok this week about her rescue dog Koda, showing off a minor foot injury she had picked up and updating her followers on the dog's latest adventures. It did not stay that way for long. Her son challenged her to a lie detector test. And the whole thing fell apart in the comments.

Her son Collin Gosselin, 22, one of the sextuplets who starred on TLC's "Jon and Kate Plus 8" from toddlerhood onwards, appeared last weekend on the Strange McKnights YouTube channel and invited his estranged mother to sit down with him, both of them hooked up to polygraphs, and answer questions about his childhood. Specifically about his allegation that Kate zip-tied his hands and feet and locked him in a basement when he was a child. "I would like to invite my mom to do a lie detector test," he said. "Mom, if you're listening to this, we would ask about the zip ties." He has a memoir coming. "In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood" lands October 13, and the book's synopsis promises detail that goes well beyond anything he has said publicly so far, including claims he was locked in a basement cell and force-fed a cocktail of antipsychotic drugs.
