Good morning! Apologies for giving you a little less Celebrity Intelligence last week, I was in Greece and gave you one less email than normal. But it’s a good time for me to recoup as Hollywood, like most industries, slows down in the summer and the royals for sure take a break. Here’s what I find compelling in this world over the last few days. In today's edition: the internet (and society overall) can't agree on how to talk about Ariana Grande's body, a Wachtell partner's affair just cost him a career-defining move, a comedian's joke about a "PR relationship" turned out to be half true, and American Idol turns 25 without the culture that used to make its winners famous.

I would also like to highlight an exciting new development, Celebrity Intelligence has gently launched our YouTube channel. Right now you can see me giving you short insights into stories from the entertainment and celebrity world that you should care about and that have some meaning. The channel will be building more in the future with some exciting things ahead for Celebrity Intelligence so I would appreciate you all subscribing here.

And if someone in your life still thinks celebrity news is beneath them, forward this on and let them eat their words. We have a great referral scheme where you get free paid content as a reward.
