The night belonged to Dior’s Jonathan Anderson. Kinda. The fabled fashion house debuted its Cruise 2027 Collection at LACMA's buzzy new David Geffen Galleries, where Anderson had scattered vintage Cadillac convertibles in sherbet colors around an outdoor runway, placed vintage street lamps between the seats, and put a mock movie script titled "Wilshire Boulevard" on every guest's chair. It was a show explicitly about Hollywood mythology, old glamour and the artifice of stardom. Half of Hollywood showed up. Sabrina Carpenter ran to her seat with seconds to spare before the first model walked out, then turned around and opened the show herself in a sheer primrose yellow dress. Miley Cyrus was there. Anya Taylor-Joy. Jisoo. Al Pacino. After the show, guests moved to the Chateau Marmont, which Dior had taken over in its entirety, and danced, sang karaoke, ate In-N-Out burgers, and sipped champagne until the night dissolved. But the buzz among the crowd wasn't just about the handsome Irish designer's Los Angeles debut.

Somewhere in that crowd, wearing a green jacket and jeans and flashing a wide smile for the cameras, stood a 19-year-old who hadn't been photographed at an event like this in ten years. Jayden James Spears attended the Dior Cruise 2027 show, marking his first red carpet appearance since 2015. He was accompanied by a woman whom the press described as "a mystery brunette" but she is in fact his girlfriend Gabrielle. He looked relaxed. He looked like he belonged. He was in exactly the right room.
